Quality Mexican in the heart of Henderson
Was getting my car serviced and decided to try this place out. Based on the reviews on Yelp and after having lunch in this restaurant, I must agree with majority of the Yelp community.
Pros: great tasting food that reminds me of mexico
Cons: no bathroom access
Overall 4.5 -

Was out running errands in this area and we were in dire need of some good Mexican food. A quick Yelp search directed us to here. The food presents itself so darn delicious via all the photos posted on Yelp, how could we resist?
My bestie and I went crazy and ordered a bunch of food (tacos, nachos, sides and a tostada de ceviche). The food took a while to come out, but that is totally ok as long as it is worth the wait, which it sorta was? (The El Pastor tacos and beans).
The carne asada tacos were too greasy for my taste. I would rate them a solid 3/5. However, my friend thought they were out of this world bomb and rated them 5/5. Go figure.
The reason for the 3 stars is due to the over greasiness of the asada tacos and the fact that the employees forgot to make my tostada de ceviche that ended up being a complete waste. Once I reminded them, the tostada was brought out. It was NOT good. The shrimp was super chewy and had an odd flavor... super gross! I ended up throwing away the tostada. Did not want to risk getting ill over some old seafood.
All in all, this place is A-OK. OH! They also did not have the famous "Pina Del Mar" pineapple dish. I was super disappointed as I was looking forward to try it. This is an ok place for Mexican food if you are starving. Better than Taco Bell. -

We did NOT expect the sizes of the portions here. We spent around $20 and walked away with enough food to feed a family of 6 (or two hungry armenians, like us)
I got a wet burrito and had some extra goodies like sour cream, double meat, and extra cheese added - and my friend ordered a quesadilly and adding Asada.
The food was hot, saucy, dank, scrump-DILLY, bomb, amazing, whatever grouping of words you want to use still won't begin to describe how much this hits the spot at the end of a long day driving big ol' tractors.
We were here just working a construction site in Henderson and this popped up on a quick google search - I'm glad it did because we'll definitely be coming back next time we're in Henderson. -

Have to do an update here and I have to say not great. Service was awful wated over 30min to an hour for three tacos and a burrito. People kept coming up to counter to ask where their missing food was. Some lady kept going behind the counter then to the dining room maybe it was family but customers were waiting who paid for food, didn't seem like we were a priority.. and they got rid of the soda tower...For all the compition there is, the food was just ok, I can find somewhere else to go with much better service, don't waste your time.. I warned that they were slow and they didn't fix it...

I'm not on this side of town often, but when I do, I try to squeeze in a visit here! Their seafood dishes are my go to, like the pina del mar (half a pineapple stuffed with grilled citrus shrimp), a seasonal special, or their ceviche (currently only available in shrimp). Their posole (weekends only) is also flavorful and legit, as are their parillada platters. They also have a drive thru for faster orders, like their tacos (I've liked the shrimp and asada here). Even I'm getting takeout, I stop inside to visit their salsa bar (verde is my fave). Ordering also available on GrubHub. Note that they charge for takeout boxes.
